I am a pretty big advocate of recycling. We do it here in our own home and I even go to the length of bring stuff home when I know its not going to get recycled at an event. I am not one of those crazy the world is completely falling apart and recycling is going to fix everything type of guys but I do believe in taking care of what God has given us. That being said I read a disturbing article this morning about how little the airlines are doing to recycle. The average passenger leaves behind 1.3 pounds of trash and very little of that get recycled.

 

The article mentioned two airlines that are doing a decent job Delta and Virgin America. I applaud them for that and hope that others would follow their lead. If you want to read the article it can be found here.
