So I am happy to announce that my aunt is finally coming home from Iraq and we are throwing her a huge party this weekend. A lot of family from out of town is coming in and everyone is bringing gifts. Our family decided to pull all our money together to buy her a few nice gifts. My mom suggested we get her one of those military rings that are very popular. It kind of looks like a high school ring if you ever owned one of those. She served in the navy so logically we ordered her a this one. We were able to get he favorite stone in the ring so I think she is going to love it. We looked at several sites including Amazon but found the best deal at a small website.

Those were pretty pricey so we didn't have much left over after that. My sister remembered my aunt saying she wanted a unique shower curtain for her bathroom downstairs. My sister ended up ordering her a shabby chic shower curtains. I didn't even really know this was possible but apparently it is. The shower curtain arrived yesterday and the ring last week so we are in the process of putting together a gift bag. Who isn't ready for this war to be over?
